Mrs. Chernick is a veteran homeschooler who began helping others in their homeschooling journey in 2020.  Her love of beautiful living books led her to The Charlotte Mason Method. 

Her love for the children, families, and desire to not only be a school but the Body of Christ are apparent in her devotion to each Peak Christian Academy family and staff member. 

Pastor Matt Reynolds is the senior pastor of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church and a product of Christian education. Having been educated in Christian schools from preschool through college he knows firsthand the importance of developing a biblical worldview and establishing a strong Christian foundation from an early age. Because of his own experience as a student in a Christian school, Pastor Matt is committed to seeing Christian education go forward and impact as many children as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  

Mrs. Wade came to Peak Christian Academy when it was Charlotte Mason of the Roanoke Valley as a parent looking for a safe individualized education for her son. She looks forward to helping our staff and students reach their full potential by supporting all the needs of Peak Christian Academy.

Mrs. Campbell graduated from Patrick and Henry College with a degree in Early Childhood education and has blessed many children with her love of teaching.  Mrs. Campbell started at Peak Christian Academy in the Fall of 2023 and her love of Dr. Seuss books always helps her class to be fun as well as educational.  Her class starts their day with play, Pledge of Allegiance, Pledges to the Christian Flag and to the Bible; it is truly joyful.  Her guilty pleasure is an iced coffee from Starbucks, and she brings light, love, and smiles wherever she goes.

Mrs. Reynolds love of learning and reading, especially mysteries, was passed down from her dad. She is unashamedly addicted to Coca Cola, especially a fountain Coke with great ice. Samantha is a graduate of Mary Baldwin University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Elementary Education.  Being a part of Peak Christian Academy has allowed her to see education in a different way, one that focuses on students as individuals. It is important that Mrs. Reynolds students know how much God loves them and how He has a plan for their lives.

Mr. Gudeman is a man of many talents, including an exceptional gardener, a quick wit, a home-schooling father and grandfather.  His knowledge of God's word is remarkable, and he truly goes above and beyond for his students. Mr. G (as he is known) has been helping to educate others for many years from co-ops to hybrids and is a blessing to all he meets.
